Nana & Mr. Bob went to Mexico for two weeks for Easter. We stayed at a beautiful resort in Isla Navidad, Christmas Island. It's a somewhat secluded area just northwest of Manzanillo. We took a tour to Colima, the capital of the state and had our picture taken with a street vendor. He was selling juice from palm trees. It was very sweet and our tour guide told us it takes a long time to climb the palm tree and get the juice. We then went to Comala, a little town north of Colima and had an all you can eat lunch, which was free. All we had to do was to pay for the drinks. After lunch we went north a few miles to a coffee processing plant and saw the Nevado de Colima Volcano letting off some steam. It is an active volcano and it was exciting to see. We even saw some ash in the air.When we returned you and your family came over on Sunday for a visit. I hadn't seen you in almost three weeks. Boy are you getting big! Mr. Bob and I had some Mexican toys for you and your brother and some caps, that when you threw them on the ground they would explode. We went out to the street to throw them. Later we had a Bar B Q and Mr. Bob wanted a Diet Coke. You said you'd get it so I went in to help. I thought it would be fun if you acted like a waiter, so I put a towel over your arm and you delivered the drink. Mr. Bob gave you a tip. However, it was a 20 peso bill, worth about $1.60 in todays american dollars. I gave you two dollars for it. You saw a $100.00 bill in Mr. Bob's wallet and tried to get him to give that to you. No way, but a good try. So.......when you get to be a teenager and in college, you can get a job as a waiter and if you'r good you can make a lot of extra money.
