On Saturday, February 11th, I went to your house to go to your basketball game. You played great! You made 5 baskets. What a difference from last season. After your first game, Andrew came home with me so we could have a little alone time. You had another game to play, so you and your parents brought you later.
You won your second game.
You and your parents came over for dinner. We had King Cake celebrating Mardi Gras. Uncle Bruce had to work and couldn't make it. Unfortunately, we did not do any second lining.
Andrwe got the baby.
After your parents left we played baseball in the driveway. You hit a couple up on the roof. We went next door to give Mr. Ron our mailbox key. You really didn't want to go. I think Mr. Ron sort of scared you or something, but away we went. We asked him if we could go up to his roof patio. Mr. Ron brought up drinks for you and me. We looked to see if we could see any of the balls you hit on the roof. We didn't, but we could see an old antenna that was just lying the. We also watched the sunset. It was a great view. You had a great conversation with Mr. Ron about basketball and football. When we first went over you really didn't care too much for him, but as you got to know him you were quite animated when talking with him. To my surprise you invited him over to play Trivial Pursuit and watch a movie. Surprisingly, he did join us, but left about 1/4 way thu the movie.
Next you went in for your usual bubble bath. We were in bed around 10:00. You asked me what kind of new car I bought and what color it was. I told you it was a white Mercedes with a black convertible top. You also think we're rich because we have a big house.
Sunday morning I had a lot of stuff to do to get ready to fly back so Seattle. We made muffins for breakfast and pancakes for lunch.
Here's a photo of you showing where you lost another tooth on 2.7.2012. The Tooth Fairy left you $5.00.
After most of my errands were done we went to CrackerJax. You wanted to ride the go carts by yourself. Unfortunately you were 1/2" too short. The guy said to come back in a week. You'd probably be tall enough by then. So instead you went on the bungee jump. However, you wouldn't flip. Just up and down.
You and your parents took me to the airport for my flight back to Seattle.
For Valentine's Day I sent you a card with a check in it. I feel really bad that I'm not around.
On Saturday, February 18th you won all of your games. So then off the playoffs on Saturday, the 25th. You lost your first game, so that was it. However, I asked you how you played and you said you got 30 baskets. I didn't think so, but I asked what was the score and you said 36 to 30. Go figure.
Apparently, after you game, your parents picked up a rug I ordered at Pier 1 and took it to the house for me. I really appreciate their help.
You mother sent this photo of you and your brother to me. The apparently took you two to some indoor racetrack. The Mario Andriette brothers!!!!
