Nana's Birthday Party

Mr. Bob and Nana were out of town for my birthday so today we had a belated celebration and your mother made the wonderful pop cake shown below.  Then all of you sang me the "Birthday Cha Cha Cha" song to me.

Here's the three of us.

Just love my birthday card!

I had sent a Halloween JibJab to you and we watched it over and over and over.  You just loved it.  However, Nana had a difficult time making it because I couldn't find the correct size photos.  So, I took head shots of everyone for future use.  Here's the one I took of you.

After our little party, we went to your flag football practice.  Then out to dinner at the new Native New Yorker on Gilbert Road at the 202.  We had fun and said grace.  You said it over Andrew and he got upset, so we let him say it again while you kept quiet.  We all held hands. It was a wonderful birthday celebration.

Your 7th Birthday Weekend

Last weekend you went to Disneyland with your parents and Andrew to celebrate your 7th birthday..  Grandma and Les meet all of you there.

Nonno and Nonna arrived in Phoenix on Wednesday from Canada.  They are very old friends of mine.  Thursday Nonno, Mr. Bob and I went golfing.
On Friday, October 1st you, your mother and Andrew came over to our house.  Uncle Jeffrey came over from California and Uncle Bruce joined us along with your dad.  We swam and had lots of fun.

Nonno in the photo left is teaching you how to snorkel.  You did okay, but were not very interested.  Compared to Andrew, who just wanted to snorkel all the time.

You and Andrew then went into the hot tub and practiced exhailing and sinking to the bottom.

You relaxing poolside with a snack.

You getting ready for your birthday party.  You could be a model when you grow up.  You sure do know how to strike a pose.

I asked Uncle Bruce if he would help you light the candles on the dining room table and in the living room.  You were really getting into it.

I hope you had a great 7th birthday party.
